Each rug is entirely handmade and is the result of meticulous work where each thread is individually knotted by the artisan.

This demanding technique allows for great fineness of design and gives rise to pieces of remarkable richness.

The Serge Lesage collection now comprises more than 90 hand-knotted creations, mainly crafted from wool, combined depending on the model with Tencel, viscose, bamboo, or jute.

The choice of materials and the density of the knotting offer particular depth to the colors and patterns.

The differences in pile height also allow for playing with reliefs and highlighting certain details of the design.
The light then reveals all the subtlety of the textures and makes the appearance of the rug evolve throughout the day.

Each piece is given particular care, from knotting to the hand-finished details.
