Collection: Tela Alma

With this new collection designed by Sarah Gracia, Serge Lesage affirms its expertise in crafting exceptional, creative, elegant and refined pieces.

Tela Alma is inspired by the journey of Olga de Amaral, drawing on her approach to weaving, color and her vision of creation, as a language linking artisanal heritage and contemporary expression.

At the heart of Tela Alma, ancestral artisanal techniques are employed with subtlety and precision. The interplay of materials, gradients, and colors creates abstract patterns. These compositions suggest imaginary landscapes and terrains, translated through a textile language that is both sensitive and poetic.

The color palette also echoes the work of Olga de Amaral. Gold, deep blue, and carmine red, emblematic colors of her works, make each piece vibrate with a new intensity.

Venezuelan artist Claudia Lavegas is the featured artist in this collection. The Churuatas rug, adapted from her work, explores the architecture and geometry of indigenous Amazonian huts. This bold artistic choice reflects Sarah's desire to create a dialogue between art and design and echoes the work of Olga de Amaral, who celebrates the encounters between cultures.

With Tela Alma, Serge Lesage reaffirms his deep attachment to craftsmanship, color, and handwork, and offers unique pieces that become true works of art.
